A Friend..?I've often wondered...
What is a friend?
Is it someone you have known for a long time?
Or is it someone you consider special?

To me, I don't have any friends.
Sad isn't it?
To not trust anyone to such an extent.
But how can I have something I don't truly understand?

I don't tell anyone about myself.
They don't try and understand me.
Still, it's none of their business anyway...
They don't need to know.

If it doesn't concern you, why should you care?
It doesn't affect you right?
Then you shouldn't bother.
As harsh as it sounds I long for one thing.

It is one thing I honestly want in life.
A Friend.

My PurposeI was once hollow, an empty shell.
I needed reason, a purpose.
Blending in with the crowd is what I do.
Everything changed though… I met you.

I became your friend.
At times I wish we were more.
I was happy, I'm glad I've met you.
I found out your goal in life, to make everyone smile truly.

I think I have found it.
Everything I was looking for.
Right here, inside me.
Around you and all the things you adore.

I smile every day because I know you think of me.
I laugh because I know if I don't you won't be smiling.
I cry because I know at night we will never say goodbye.
But I look forward to each day because I know when I loo

is that what we really want? When we finally do meet, what will each think of the other? Will there be some sort of spark? Not likely. Yet, we all dream
of meeting the 'right person' to spend the rest of our lives with. Dreams make us want, and so on and so fourth. So we become attached, vying for the
other's affection and approval. We are like lost puppies searching for another to protect us. We lose ourselves in the moment, wanting, and waiting for

How do I get her to pay attention to me?
Does she just want to be friends with me?
I wonder if she'd go on a date with me?
Why is it so awkward to ask her out?
What will we do on our date tonight?
I wonder if she'll kiss me?
Maybe we could go back to my place?
Could we be together forever?
Are we soulmates?
Why is she so stubborn?
Why do we always have to fight?
Is she going to end it?
Why can't we just talk about this?
Why do I have to be so stupid?
Could I have done anything to prevent this?
